On my plans I donвЂ™t dictate the type of speaker cabinet hardware or speaker binding posts, speaker driver screws and such. I donвЂ™t think it takes much more time to build a speaker box correctly than building one sloppy and wrong. In short, the cabinet should be as inert as the budget allows. The bracing needs to be well thought out to minimize standing waves and internal cabinet pressures. And this does not imply just throwing a few braces into the box. Non resonant speaker boxes are the best way to get the most out of any given speaker design. I personally know that the speaker cabinet design can have an effect on the music and media that is playing. I like to build non-resonant enclosures and DIY speaker box projects. I guess they may be disappointed with my business model. There are many consumers who want a wide variety of cookie cutter speaker projects. It takes some time to test, build, retest, correct, fix and finalize a speaker design plan.
